At Buckeye we our very proud to have a dynamic team of crew members to help serve the needs of our boaters and to not only satisfy but enhance their boating experience. We are proud to have a crew of over 40 hardworking and dedicated individuals who are dedicated to growing and strengthening our business in order to better serve our customers.

We understand that our ability to offer expert service is heavily reliant on the professionalism, education and dedication of our staff. With this in mind we are very proud to say that the majority of our staff have been with us, helping our customers for over 10 years.

Here are a few points about our crew that will confirm our dedication to providing the best customer experience out there.

  • Has five professionally trained sales personnel who have over 70 years of combined selling experience and have been trained to assist customers in purchasing the right boat to suit their needs.
  • Has six factory trained technicians with over 80 years of combined experience who work on engines of all types
  • Has two staff members who have been working with Buckeye for over 20 years.
  • Employs on average 10 summer students through the spring, summer and fall months and many of those students have grown to become full time employees over the years.
  • Requires all sales and service employees to retain annual certification with all of the products that we sell or service.
  • Does monthly in-house customer service training with all of its employees
  • Employs an automotive collision repairs specialist, a Water-Ski Wakeboard Canada head boat operator instructor and two Water Ski Wakeboard Canada certified instructors.
  • Has 2 qualified Boating Ontario certified marine sales professionals skilled in the ethics of brokerage sales
  • Has a team of 3 qualified boating safety instructors who have been certified through the Canadian Yachting Association.
  • Management has attended professional management training.
  • Currently employs 8 members of the Poole family.
